New Program Alert - Mind the Gap: Intergenerational Theatre Workshop

New York Theatre Workshop has an interesting opportunity for writers ages 14-19 to interact with writers ages 60 and older through an intergenerational program this spring. Youth participants in the Mind the Gap project will interview elders and use those conversations as inspiration for new dramatic writing.

According to the NYTW website, the program goals are: "to use theatre as a creative tool to increase empathy and communication between generations. No theatre experience is required to participate in the program."

Virtual writing workshops will take place on Tuesdays from 4:30-6:00 pm. Readings of the plays will be on May 23rd.

Interested applicants must submit an application by 5:00 pm on February 7th. No prior theatre experience is required! The application is linked here.
